Maximised Fluidity

We have noticed that space no longer has just one purpose; we are maximising them with multiple uses and fluid time periods. As our working lives are demanding flexibility, so is our leisure time.

An advertising agency in Amsterdam has created the ultimate flexible working space. At 6pm their desks are hauled up to the ceiling, chairs are cleared away and the office is transformed into a social space for activities such as yoga, a bar, a dance floor… whatever the team want to do that evening. The concept was developed by Bright Green and built by Zecc Architects and maximises the use of this space whilst also creating a clear cut-off time for work to end and leisure time to begin in a fluid setting.

This also applies to social spaces being maximised such as being able to stream the Boiler Room from your computer. This allows you to stream live sets from your favourite DJs in your house and transform your house into the party whenever you want.
